Mrs. Clayton’s Cupboard
January 20 - 28
Collection Dates: January 20 - 28 with a BIG collection box open at Game Night on January 20th. Bring your family and a healthy snack!
Did you know that there are students at Pinchbeck who don’t have a snack to eat during the school day? It’s not because they were in a hurry and forgot to pack one. It’s because their family is having trouble providing snacks for them. Mrs. Clayton, who managed Pinchbeck’s cafeteria for 14 years prior to her retirement in 2005, would tell us that the answer is easy. Feed the hungry children. In honor and memory of Mrs. Clayton, who passed away in October of 2007, our Rays Reaching Out service project during the month of January will be collecting donations in the form of snack foods and monetary contributions towards the purchase of healthy food for our hungry students. The snacks will be stored in Mrs. Clayton’s Cupboard in the front office. Teachers will have access to the food as needs arise in their classroom.
