It's time for the yearbook cover art contest! This year's theme is "Building Great Minds!" The contest is open to all Pinchbeck students. Please follow these directions for creating and submitting entries:

1. Entries should be submitted on 8 1/2 x 11 paper, oriented in portrait format (the 8 1/2 inch sides at the top and bottom).
2. Front cover and back cover art should be on separate sheets of paper.
3. The entry should follow the theme "Building Great Minds." This phrase should be included in the front cover art, as well as "Pinchbeck Elementary School" and "2011 - 2012."
4. Please keep at least a half inch margin on all sides between the text/art and the edge of the paper.
5. On the back of both sheets, please write your child's name, grade, and teacher's name in pencil, making sure it does not show through the front of the paper.
6. Please submit the art flat, not folded, in a flat envelope marked "Yearbook Cover Art Contest." It should be sent to school in your child's folder.
7. The deadline for entries is November 18, 2011.
8. Parents, please also send an email to yearbook.pinchbeck@gmail.com with your child's name, grade, and teacher's name so that I can make sure I get his or her entry.
